Library Tales Publishing is an independent publishing company based in New York City. The company was established by Usher Morgan in 2009[1]. It is known for publishing The Thought Exchange series[2] and the How To Become A Wizard Franchise[3]. It is also considered the first book publisher to use a vertical integration system to publish books, produce films and take advantage of merchandising rights.[4]
The company began by focusing on How To and self help books, and began diversifying its portfolio in early 2011 by getting into fiction and memoire books.[5][6]
In February 2011, Library Tales Publishing acquired Digital Magic Entertainment[7] and announced its first three films, based on books published by the publisher[8].[9]
